The route doesn't start to get interesting until you reach Pto de las Pedrizas. You take the A356 from here all the way to Velez Malaga. The 356 takes you past the lakes at Periana which are impressive. The 356 is a fast flowing road with open bends which can be ridden hard & fast particulary early weekend morning or can be ridden steadily whilst taking in the scenary. Some nice little villages to visit on route too.
