The route starts near Observatory, just before the road bar. At the beginning the road is paved but soon you will be on a trail that runs though Rouvas forest and goes down to village Ghergheri. Just a few kms before Ghergeri village the road is paved again. Above Ghergeri you can enjoy the great view to Zaros lake. In winter the road is not so good. It's full of rocks from the mountain above and full of small channels caused by the heavy rain.
