A nice cruse along the Maumee river. Stop in at Ritas ice cream shop in Grandrapids and finish up with some wings and a ice cold beer at Buffalo wild wings in Maumee.
It's an OK route with little to worry about. Fun ride with a few curves and great for new riders. It offers a mix of highway, and paved back roads to keep it interesting. Would recommend doing the loops twice in a row.
This was a really nice curvy rural road when I rode it a while back, but I understand that there may be or have been some repairs on it subsequently. Someone who has been there more recently may be able to update this review
Country road from Granville to Lancaster. Some hills and curves in first half, straights and open farmland views in second half. Moderate traffic, decent road surface.
Country state highway from Waverly to Sciotoville.
First half from Waverly to Beaver is best.
Nice curves, hills, pretty rural scenery.
Good road surface, little traffic.
Watch out for loose gravel kicked onto road from side roads and driveways.
Second half from Beaver to Sciotoville less ...
Millstone is a great place to grab lunch before you head out for a relaxing ride. You can also add in a stop at Cedar Falls along the way if you want to get off the bikes and head down the stairs to look at water.
Chillicothe Ohio to Winchester VIrginia. Chillicothe to Albany pleasant country backroad. Athens to Clarksburg WV is fairly boring 4 lane highway. Nice mountain scenery, though. From Clarksburg to Winchester is a terrific ride on a two lane road through the mountains. LOTS of curves, climbs and di...
A very nice flowing rural road through the Ohio countryside into Amish country.
Rolling hills, good surface and not much traffic until the tourist areas at Millersburg. The famous prison from the film Shawshank Redemption is at Mansfield, worth a look
I begin at Sand Run Parkway in Akron. A short way in the creek water (shallow) crosses the road as you travel through the tree covered road. Once on River Road you'll experience nice curves and straightaways as you go North along the Cuyahoga River. Peninsula (Route 303) is a nice place with shops,...
I recommend taking this route from near Killbuck, later in the day. There are several areas of large tree stands on the western sides that throw long shadows across the road, giving it additional interest.
Through the Cleveland Suburbs is a park Road. Starts in Rocky River and goes to the "The Valley" in Akron. Great ride but slow. Speed limit is between 30-40 MPH. Avoid during weekends due to high volume of car traffic. A lot of twists and turns to keep your interests up.
Sweepers with some tight corners, this road is up and down, back and forth the whole way. No staight section longer than 1/8 mile (maybe 1 or 2 that long). Lots of nice scenery through the valley. Great road for this part of Ohio!
Start out in rolling hills and farmland as you leave Georgetown. Beautiful country scenerie and quaint small towns highlight the first part of this ride. South of West Union, there are more hills and curves, especially as you climb into Shawnee State Forest and then drop over the hill and down to th...
Ohio River to Hillsboro. Has a little of everything: curves, hills, straights, woods, open fields, streams. Little traffic, road surface mostly great shape. A couple of small towns along the way. Great variety, just a fun ride.
This is about a 2 hour drive straight through. Half the route is straights and the other half is cornering. Lots of farm areas. My favorite part is driving through the corkscrew hills near Ft. Ancient.
An easy flowing rural road with a valley and a couple of mountain style turns in the middle of it. Popular with tourists but nice during quieter periods.
This is a scenic ride through Ohio and Indian with a few stop along the way. its just over a hundred miles with your first stop being at ainsleys riverside restaurants. then down 101 to cedar grove bowling alley. on your way back to Ohio youll stop at indian creek tavern and jd dinks in millville.
